• Order details: recipient name, relationship, occasion, genre, voice preference, qualities, story, and message.
• Contact details: your email address and phone number, used to verify your identity and deliver your song.
• Payment information: processed by Stripe. We receive a transaction ID and the last four digits of the payment method, but we do not store full card data.
• Customer support communications: the content of emails or feedback you send us.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL, and timestamps.
• Cookies and similar technologies: for session handling, analytics, and ad-attribution (Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta Pixel).

2.3 Information from third parties

• Stripe — payment confirmation and risk signals tied to your transaction.
• Email and SMS providers — delivery and bounce signals for messages we send to you.

3. How we use your information

• To create, produce, and deliver your custom MomentSong.
• To verify your email before payment and protect against fraud or abuse.
• To process payment and issue receipts.
• To send transactional updates (verification code, order confirmation, production updates, delivery, follow-ups, remake status).
• To provide customer support and process remake requests.
• To improve our service and the quality of future songs.
• To measure marketing effectiveness and optimize our advertising via Google and Meta tools.

• Performance of a contract — to deliver the song you ordered.
• Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, improve, and market our service.

5. Sharing your information

We share personal data only with the following categories of recipients:

• Service providers who help us run MomentSong, including Stripe (payments), Supabase (database hosting), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (web hosting), OpenAI and KIE (song-blueprint and audio generation), Google (analytics and ads), and Meta (ads measurement).
• Members of our internal creative team who write, record, mix, and master your song.
• Professional advisors (lawyers, accountants) when reasonably required.
• Authorities if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
• Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to equivalent privacy protections.

We do not sell your personal data.

6. International transfers

MomentSong is operated from the United States. When we transfer personal data from outside the U.S., we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses with our processors.

7. How long we keep your information

• Order records and the underlying song files: kept for as long as your account is active and for up to 7 years afterwards for tax and dispute-resolution purposes.
• Verification sessions and codes: kept for up to 30 days.
• Marketing analytics: aggregated where possible; raw analytics events typically retained for 14 months.
• Support emails: kept for as long as needed to resolve the issue and to maintain a service record.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate data;
• delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements;
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• request a copy of your data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent;

MomentSong is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data, including TLS in transit, access control on our database, and PCI-compliant payment processing through Stripe. No system can be perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
